As we all know by know, Kelly Dodd loves to cause trouble on social media. And she loves criticizing her former franchise, Real Housewives of Orange County. There’s no doubt that Kelly was always bringing the drama on the show but eventually, that love for social media controversy caught up to her. After some insensitive and questionable takes, she was fired after 5 seasons. Take that with a grain of salt though – Kelly’s behavior on the show didn’t exactly help her either.
And since she was fired, that bitterness has only grown. She seems particularly obsessed with the show’s rating and how RHOC is performing without her. Kelly previously complained on Twitter, “Wait, wasn’t I the ratings problem? Wasn’t there a boycott?? We got over a million viewers 14 out of 16 weeks last season despite HUGE competition from election coverage on the news!!! This year? #RHOC16 under a million 3x in 4 weeks! Hey @Andy [Cohen] How’s that reboot going???”

Now Kelly is upping the ante and saying that RHOC is the worst show she’s ever seen. In a screen shot captured by Bravo By Betches on Instagram, Kelly tweeted, “THANK YOU BRAVO [hands up emoji]. THANKS FOR FIRING ME!! DID ME A FAVOR!!!” She really went out with the all caps to get her point across.
Kelly concluded, “This is the worst show I’ve ever seen!!” Well, it’s not the worst show I’ve ever seen. I would argue that the show wasn’t exactly in it’s prime on Kelly’s last season either. But….this season wasn’t exactly great either. Ok, let’s be real – it was not good.

Regardless of Kelly says, it sounds like she’s not above coming back to the show she so seemly loathes. When she was recently asked if she would come back, she replied, “I am happy with my current situation but the money was sooo good it’s hard.” Ok, so maybe stop burning all those bridges. What cast member in their right mind would film with Kelly after everything she’s said? She’s called Gina Kirschenheiter a “charity” case and said she feels bad for her kids. She has described Heather Dubrow as money hungry and evil. She also went after Emily Simpson, questioning her legal work and claiming her storyline is fake.
Even if Bravo decides to totally reboot RHOC (which they should), I doubt there is a place for Kelly. Even housewives have limits to the drama they are willing to tolerate for the sake of a good show.
