This is a pretty lukewarm take, but I’m starting to think that Teresa Giudice and Margaret Josephs will never make up. I know that housewives dynamics change dramatically season to season. But on Real Housewives of New Jersey, grudges run deep. Especially when it comes to Teresa. So ever since Marge started bringing up Tre’s (now) fiancé, Luis “Louie” Ruelas’ past, I think we all knew this wouldn’t end well.
Despite Louie’s red flags, Teresa is going to stand by her man until the bitter end. When it comes to protecting Louie, Teresa’s rule is that you definitely can’t ask about him. Hell, you can’t even talk about him. Even thought his past has been all over the internet since the two of them got together. But Teresa maintains that Louie is the best guy and proceeded full steam ahead with their relationship. She’s gushed of her man, “We both like the same things. Know how they say, ‘Opposites attract?’ Well, not with us. I don’t like opposite. We both understand each other. We’re both the same person. We like the same things. And he just understands me, I understand him. I love the way he speaks, the way he is, his heart, his mannerisms. He’s a gentleman. He knows how to treat a woman.”
But Marge isn’t a believer. She has questions; understandable ones. Especially after Teresa’s explosive fight with Marge on the cast trip to Nashville. Teresa accused Marge of going to the blogs with negative stories about Louie. While Marge denied it, things escalated and Marge ended up with silverware thrown towards her and a full drink on her. Now Marge is going the extra mile in what will surely send Teresa even further over the edge. As reported by Reality Blurb, Marge appeared on an episode of the RHONJ: After Show and suggested that Tre’s love bubble may have burst.
After the big blow up, Teresa and Louie left the house to stay at a hotel. Marge shared, “There was peace in the house after that. [Teresa]’s a little bit of a loose cannon. I didn’t want her to leave the state. I was like, ‘Let her go stay someone else. Let her gather her thoughts.’ Happy people don’t behave that way.”
I have to admit, Marge might be on the right track with this one. It’s feeling like the lady (Tre) doth protest too much when it comes to Louie. We’ve all heard the stories. We’ve seen the video. We have even watched Louie tell Teresa to stop talking in front of her friends, family, castmates AND cameras. I’m not insinuating that Louie is doing something nefarious to Tre. But I do think there is more to the story than we know. And that Teresa should absolutely get that prenup.
