The Mazel of the Week goes to – Andy Cohen! To fans surprise, Andy just announced on Instagram that he added another member to his family. The Bravo executive and Watch What Happens Live host has one son, Ben Cohen, who was born in February of 2019.
As reported by E! Online, Ben is now a big bother. Andy posted on Instagram to announced his joyous news of having a daughter. He used an adorable pic of himself holding his newborn baby girl to his chest. His caption read, “HERE’S LUCY!!!!! Meet my daughter, Lucy Eve Cohen! She’s 8 pounds 13 oz and was born at 5:13 pm in New York City!!!” Sounds like the name is a nod to his beloved parents, Lou and Evelyn.
Andy continued, “Her big brother can’t wait to meet her!” He then thanked his surrogate and gushed, “Thank you to my rock star surrogate (ALL surrogates are rockstars, by the way) and everyone who helped make this miracle happen. I’m so happy.” Ben was also born via surrogate.

As expected, his comments were filled with love and support from fans and fellow celebrities. Longtime friend Anderson Cooper wrote, “Amazing! Congratulations! Welcome Lucy!!!!” John Mayer added, “Hello sweet girl! congrats Andy!”
Khloe Kardashian also commented, “Congratulations!!!!! How wonderful and blessed is your family!!! May God bless you all!!” Former Real Housewives of New York star Dorinda Medley joined in and wrote, “This is so beautiful! Ben has a baby sister.”
Real Housewives of Orange County cast member Gina Kirschenheiter enthused, “Omg!! Congrats!!!! So amazing!!!! So much love to you and your growing family Andy!” Many other housewives, including Eboni K. Williams, Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Judge and Garcelle Beauvais all commented with love and congrats.

Cleary smitted, Andy posted another snap of Lucy to Instagram the next day and captioned it, “Greetings from Cloud 9 #ILoveLucy.”
While Lucy’s arrival might be a surprise to some, Andy hinted at growing his family in August of 2021. He said at the time,”You know, I’m working on it. It turns out it takes a long time to make a baby.” He teased, “I’m definitely open to it and I would love to see it happen soon.” The doting dad perviously said that becoming a father changed “everything” for him. He said of son Ben, “It’s amazing. He’s a little love bug.”
Now he’s got one more love bug to enjoy. Congrats to Andy and his family!
