It’s safe to say at this point that Kathy Hilton doesn’t fully understand how social media works. She’s becoming infamous for her numerous faux pas on Instagram. In increasingly often fashion, Kathy’s doing the most on social media and giving fans and followers comedy gold because she’s iconic.
Thankfully for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans, the Instagram account @commentsbybravo caught on to some family trouble. In a post on their Instagram, they noted in a screenshot that Kathy was no longer following her sister Kim Richards.
Blasphemy. NOT KIM. Why couldn’t Kathy channel the petty social media drama for her sister Kyle Richards? If the RHOBH trailer is any indication, they’re feuding anyway. Poor Kim has been through enough.
CommentsByBravo posted in their caption that while Kathy had unfollowed Kim, the turtle-loving child actress was still following Paris Hilton’s stoic mother. However, according to Kathy, this was a simple mistake. There goes our f***ing storyline!
Kathy cleared up the alleged misunderstanding in the comments section saying, “I speak to Kim all the time. Thank you for letting me know about the Instagram. I will follow again. We send each other DMs about funny memes???” Someone make this make sense because right now, it doesn’t.
What are the question marks for? The screenshot clearly shows that she wasn’t following Kim, so there’s little room for confusion. Someone get Kathy a box fan and a Redbull because she’s all over the place.

In a follow-up comment regarding unfollowing her sister, Kathy said, “Thank you for the heads up. You were right. I just refollowed.” How could she not know that she unfollowed her sister? Is that a mistake that someone can make? It’s possible Kathy didn’t expect the sleuths of the interwebs to pick up on it as quickly as she did. If that’s the case, she may have quickly reneged on her decision to avoid scrutiny.
Hopefully, things are Hunky Dory between the two sisters after this misunderstanding. The Richards sisters are always in a tangled web of family drama because of resentment and misunderstandings. After over a decade on television, it appears as if they may never break that cycle. They’re destined to feud because they can’t stay on the same page.
