Teresa Giudice was on her worst behavior right out of the gate at the Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion. She had plenty of hurtful things to say to her brother Joe Gorga, reminding us all of the days of the Christening from Hell. This time around, Tre doesn’t have Joe Giudice to back her up, so Gia Giudice is the next best thing. As you might expect, it’s made everything even messier. Melissa Gorga has been trying to keep the peace between her husband and her sister-in-law, but it’s going to take way more than sprinkle cookies and some blind loyalty.
Tre’s explosion boils down to her Luis Ruelas love bubble. She believes Margaret Josephs and the RHONJ squad are out to get Luis, even though his past behavior speaks for itself. It’s the result of Tre being enabled her whole adult life. I’m guilty of it — I love me some Teresa on my TV. However, it is getting old to watch a woman be so incapable of taking accountability for literally anything season after season.
Siblings always fight, but Joe and Tre take it to the next level. Now that Teresa is planning a wedding, she’s turned into the ultimate Bridezilla. She even decided that the Season 12 reunion was the perfect moment to shame Melgo and Joey for not rescheduling their wedding because she was pregnant with one of her four million dorters at the time. Melissa had the decency to include Tre in her wedding, at least, way before Real Housewives was even a blip on their radar. Unlike Tre, who may not even invite her only brother to her celebration of love love love, let alone let Melissa be in the wedding party.
Melissa couldn’t believe Tre spent so much time at the reunion bringing up long-forgotten issues from the past. Her complaint about Melissa and Joe’s wedding from another lifetime was just the icing on the cake. Of course, RHONJ fans had plenty to say online about Tre’s weird tirade, and Melissa is loving the support from her sister-in-law’s fans.
Instagram account @bravobybetches posted a meme about the reunion moment that prompted Melissa to comment, as captured by @commentsbybravo. “Help me, Jesus,” she wrote (we all read that in MelGo’s nasally voice right?). Melissa may be annoying, but she definitely is on the right side of history with this argument. Teresa may be past the point of no return when it comes to living in the same reality as the rest of her co-stars.
