Fans of Summer House were treated to the early relationship evolution of Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke during the most recent sixth season of the show. The two, who have *officially* been together for months, were barely getting flirty by the time the show’s finale episode rolled around. Rather, Lindsay’s storyline this year focused on her confusing thirst for Austen Kroll and her unrelated quest to someday become a mother.
“I’ve been thinking and talking about freezing my eggs for awhile,” Lindsay said in an episode of season 6. “I settled in the past and I was forcing something because I was up against my own timeline. If I could just stop the biological clock and eliminate that as part of my process of choosing a partner, then maybe I can find somebody who is actually meant for me.”
In the episode Hubs participated in an Anti-Müllerian Hormone test to check her ability to produce eggs that can be fertilized for pregnancy. “AMH, it’s not a number of eggs but it’s a reflection of your egg supply,” she was told by the doctor. Eventually, Lindsay was informed she has the AMH level of a 28-year-old. Mazel!
People has reported that Lindsay is moving forward in her fertility journey too. She revealed that she has started the process of hormone injections in preparation for freezing her eggs. In an Instagram post Lindsay explained, “I finally found a couple of weeks/time to sit still enough in NYC to follow through with the egg freezing process!”
“Right now, I’m on my 3rd day of hormone injections (I started on Friday) and it’s really not so bad… but I have about another week to go, so we’ll see lol!” Hubbard shared that she’s already been experiencing mood swings and that Carl has been a part of the journey too.
“I mean, I talked to Carl on the phone this morning (because he’s been out of town this weekend) and I teared up, then laughed hysterically at something, and then cried because my eyes are puffy and I feel like a pirate!”
Lindsay added, “Honestly who knows how I’m going to be feeling. So if I seem like I’m off the grid a little bit, this is why!” We are on notice!
