There are big changes on the way for Dancing With the Stars. The series was renewed for it’s 31st and 32nd season by ABC and Disney. But DWTS will now air on Disney+ starting this fall. It will be the first live TV series to air on the streaming channel.
DWTS pro Sharna Burgess is preparing for some big life changes. She competed on Season 30 with her real-life boyfriend, Brian Austin Green. If you watched the original Beverly Hills 90210, you know that Brian’s character had some really sweet dance moves. Too bad those moves didn’t result in high scores from the DWTS judges.
The duo gave each other loving shout-outs for their one-year anniversary in October of 2021. “1 year of accepting me in a way I’ve never been loved before #damnimlucky,” Brian wrote on Instagram.
Sharna wrote on her Instagram, “1 year ago yesterday my whole world changed. I just didn’t know it yet.” She continued, “You’re everything I’ve ever wanted in 1 person and the way you love me is something I couldn’t even have dreamed of.”
In February, Sharna and Brian confirmed that they are expecting a baby. The couple showed off Sharna’s growing bump in a maternity photo shoot in Hawaii.
This will be Sharna’s first child. Brian shares a 20-year-old son with actress Vanessa Marcil. Brian also has three sons with his ex-wife, actress Megan Fox. Megan is now engaged to Machine Gun Kelly. No word on if Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent will get a wedding invite from the couple.
E! News reported that Sharna discussed why she doesn’t compare herself to Megan on the podcast, The Viall Files. “Bri had a whole life with another person and babies. But there’s no comparison and why would you compare?” Sharna told host Nick Viall. “That obviously didn’t work for a reason.”
The DWTS pro continued, “The idea of comparing yourself to anyone sets you up for failure. You can only focus on who you are, who you love, how you can be there for that person and focus on the future ahead, while knowing that you have to make space for all these things because they had a life before you,” she added.
For the sake of the children that Megan shares with Brian, Sharna decided to foster a friendly relationship with Megan. Brian said that he and his children appreciate the rapport between Sharna and Megan. “The fact that they know that Sharna can openly talk to their mom also about things is invaluable. It really is,” Brian commented.
In July of 2022, Brian posted a photo on Instagram of himself kissing Sharna at Walt Disney World. Megan shared her appreciation for Sharna on the post. “Grateful for Sharna,” Megan commented with a purple-heart emoji.

Sharna, who is expecting a baby boy, previously shut down any comparison to Megan. According to E! News, Sharna addressed the issue in March of 2022 during an Instagram Story Q&A session. “How do you deal with following in Megan Fox’s footsteps?” a fan asked Sharna.
“Normally, I won’t answer these types of questions. But I think many women struggle with comparing themselves to a partners’ x. Or to other women in general,” Sharna wrote.
Sharna’s reply to the fans question about competing with Megan was simple. “I don’t,” the dance pro stated.
