Manifesting marriage. Vicki Gunvalson is a sucker for love, even after she’s been burned. In her latest relationship debacle, she was unceremoniously dumped by ex-fiance Steve Lodge. She even revealed on the current season of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Ex-Wives Club that he broke up with her the day before she arrived to film. To make matters worse, he got engaged to someone else in December and then married in April. So Vicki wasted 5 years with the wrong man (again).
But the former OG of Real Housewives of Orange County has been determined to find happiness and recently revealed she has a new man. Identifying him only as Michael, she claimed she “manifested” him. And also provided him with an 18 point checklist of what she’s looking for in a man. Surprisingly, after all that, Michael stuck around. And now Vicki is sharing that she hit him with another requirement when they started dating.
Vicki told People, “I absolutely want to be married again. And I told him that, right out of the gate. I said, ‘You want to be married? You want to be committed?’ And he’s like, ‘I don’t want to be married again.'” Oh. I was kind of expecting him to say he was…..anyone else? But despite the obvious red flag that they aren’t compatible admission, Vicki isn’t giving up hope. She explained, “Marriage is a big thing. You can’t just decide to get married after three or four months. So, I am at the belief that it takes anywhere from a year to a year and a half just to even know the person. So, we’re taking it slow. There is no rush. We enjoy each other.”
Vicki also divulged how she’s “making it work” given than Michael lives part-time in Texas. Hmmm….why does this sound familiar? She confessed that it’s been “hard” being in a long distance relationship. And that she would prefer them to “be together.” Vicki even suggested she might leave the OC one day, even if thing with Michael don’t work out. She admitted, “I don’t know what my future is. I do not need to stay in California. There’s nothing there. Truly, I would probably go back to Illinois where I’m from if this doesn’t work out.”
