Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Brandi Glanville is back on our TV screens, for better or worse, on Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Ex-Wives Club. Let’s face it–Brandi always brings the drama. Brandi already admitted that she had the least amount of fun with hostess Dorinda Medley and Vicki Gunvalson.
The former RHOBH star called Dorinda’s beloved Blue Stone Manor “Dead Stone Manor.” Both Dorinda and Jill Zarin’s husbands passed away. Brandi did apologize for her comments.
Brandi’s former RHOBH co-star Taylor Armstrong’s husband also passed away. Taylor filed for divorce from her husband, Russell Armstrong, in July of 2011. In August of 2011, Russell committed suicide. Taylor was outed as a victim of domestic abuse by her co-star Camille Grammer on Season 2 of the show.
In happier news, Taylor married her former attorney John Bluher in April of 2014.
But Brandi and Taylor have a history of mixing it up on RHOBH, and it looks like history is repeating itself. There appears to be tension between Taylor and Brandi in the RHUGT Season 2 trailer.
Brandi broke down her feelings about Taylor. “I didn’t have any beef with her [before getting to Blue Stone Manor], we just really didn’t get along on the one season [of RHOBH] we were together,” Brandi stated. “I think she was just really self-producing and looking for some camera time,” she added.
Brandi continued, “I didn’t know why she was yelling at me otherwise! I was like, ‘What is this b***h doing?’ It was like the cat meme all over again,” she remarked. Meow!
Taylor spoke to Los Angeles Magazine about Brandi’s claims. Taylor stated, “I find it highly ironic that Brandi would say that I’m self-producing considering the fact that she just says things off the cuff in order to get attention, especially when it has nothing to do with her,” she commented.
“I’m just like, ‘What the hell are you talking about? I’m over-producing? You jump into stuff that has nothing to do with you!’” Taylor added.
Taylor also addressed Brandi’s mention of the infamous cat meme. “I actually thought it was a pretty funny comment. Still to this day I don’t get the meme, but people are super creative,” Taylor remarked.
“I had high hopes that maybe Brandi had matured a little over the past several years and that she and I could get along, and maybe there was some hope that things would be different between us because my life is so different now,” Taylor explained. Good luck with that!
“I’m such a stronger person than I was when Brandi and I used to fight and maybe it would have a different outcome because of my evolution,” she stated. Taylor continued, “But there was still a lot of trepidation going in and I just thought with that girl, this could go one of two ways, and chances are it’s going to be in the wrong direction.” That’s a safe bet with Brandi.

“The fun thing about Ultimate Girls Trip for me is my life is so different now. When I was on Beverly Hills, I was so stressed out in my home life with the abuse and everything I was going through,” Taylor shared.
“I couldn’t really be myself, and now that I have evolved so much and I’m back to being the original me, I’m even stronger and better. It was so much more fun for me, so I really cherish Ultimate Girls Trip,” she added.
Now that Taylor’s life is in a positive place, she would welcome a chance to return to her former show.
“Being on Ultimate Girls Trip kind of reminded me of the joys of being on Housewives and kind of the camaraderie that comes with it, as well,” Taylor said. “As much as there’s a lot of drama, it’s also a big group of friends.”
She added, “The original six of the Beverly Hills girls will always be like family to me. We’ve been through so much together and I will always have a special place in my heart for the OGs of Beverly Hills.”
