The Real may have been canceled, but Adrienne Bailon’s support for her former co-host Garcelle Beauvais is unwavering. The former Cheetah Girl and talk show host appeared alongside Loni Love on E! News’ Daily Pop, and she wasted no time letting the world know how it felt seeing Erika Jayne cuss at Garcelle’s 14-year-old son Jax on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills this week.
Of course, we’ve all seen the clip a thousand times of a tipsy Erika cursing at Garcelle’s son as her birthday was winding down. Adrienne and Loni, who made blink-and-you-miss-it cameos in the episode, weighed in on the controversial moment. Although they were at the party, they had already left by the time Erika yelled at Jax. They saw it unfold on TV like the rest of us. But had they still been there, Adrienne thinks it might have gone down a little differently.
“I think it would’ve been a very different situation had we seen that go down,” Adrienne said confidently while Loni chuckled. “That’s completely unacceptable, and I feel so sorry for him,” she continued.
Adrienne then shifted her focus to Erika, slamming her by simply saying, “You should be so embarrassed.”
She continued reflecting on the night of Garcelle’s party and Erika’s drinking. “Erika was feeling some type of way,” Adrienne recalled. “She was pulling us aside and having conversations with us, but we were a bit confused.”
Loni jumped in, adding, “There was a lot happening at that party that I haven’t seen yet that they might show.”
Previously, Loni revealed that the three of them had a strange conversation at Garcelle’s party about Erika’s legal woes. She said that Erika was going on and on about how Black people have been more supportive of her than white people. So, as Loni put it, there was a lot happening at that party!
We know the producers of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills like to save some juicy scraps on the cutting room floor and bring them out later. So, fingers crossed that we revisit Garcelle’s ill-fated birthday party again this season. There’s no telling what other odd interactions we missed.
