Awkward alert! Have you ever bumped into a former friend or foe when you’re just out trying to have a good time? It’s certainly one way to ruin your day. Such is the case with former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills castmates Lisa Vanderpump and Lisa Rinna.
This tale of two Lisas came just days after LVP tweeted out some major shade at Rinna’s exit from RHOBH. As reported by People, LVP admitted to her super obvious tweet that targeted Rinna. “I did tweet ‘Ding dong,'” she told Extra. As in, “ding dong the witch is dead.”
Unfortunately for the Vanderpump Rules star, she bumped into Rinna just two days later. LVP shared, “And then I went to Paris two days later, and who was there but Lisa Rinna!” Oopsie!
But LVP noted that the two “politely ignored each other.” She added, “There’s nothing to discuss. She didn’t treat me well on the show, and we were old friends, but I think she had that problem with a couple of other people as well,” she added. That’s the understatement of the year.
LVP and Rinna have been adversaries for years on RHOBH. It all came to a head in 2019 in what I can only describe as one of the most annoying storylines of all time. Castmate Dorit Kemsley dumped the dog she adopted from one of LVP’s rescues. Rinna accused LVP of leaking the story to the press. The incident came to be known as “Puppygate.”
LVP denied the accusation, but the entire cast turned on her and she was done. She skipped the reunion, thus sealing her fate. So would LVP return? When asked, she simply stated that she “can’t be bought.”
As for Rinna’s fall from grace, LVP has a few thoughts on that as well. “I heard she got booed at BravoCon, so I don’t know whose choice it was, really. I try not to get involved in it,” she said. “I shouldn’t have tweeted ‘Ding dong,’ but I did. There’s a lot of things I shouldn’t do but I’ve done.”
