Season 13 of Real Housewives of New Jersey is back, and I am feeling it! The war between Teresa Giudice and her sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, is going scorched earth this season.
A rumor came to light at the finale taping that Melissa supposedly cheated on her husband, Joe Gorga. The explosive argument resulted in Melissa and Joe not attending Teresa’s wedding to Luis “Louie” Ruelas.
Teresa said she has no plans to reconcile with her brother and Melissa. Melissa seems thrilled with that decision. Teresa insisted that she doesn’t “hold a grudge” against the Gorgas.
Melissa revealed that filming Season 13 of RHONJ with all the family drama was rough for her husband. And leaked text messages allegedly between Teresa and Melissa fanned the flames of this inferno. The situation is so bad that Dolores Catania thinks that Teresa and the Gorgas should give up on reconciling. Wow.
The Envy boutique owner also took issue with Teresa insisting that she never watched the show until recently. “I just wanted to educate myself and to see what my brother and sister-in-law were saying about me,” the OG stated.
Melissa doesn’t believe Teresa. “We would have to recap the whole entire episode, word for word. She [Teresa] recapped everything,” Melissa remarked. “I don’t know who was writing her blogs, then, if she never watched any of the episodes – it makes zero sense.”
The mom of three recently spoke to E! News about the feud with Teresa. She revealed that she kept a secret for much of Season 13 “for the right reasons—for the family—because she was getting married.”
She added, “We were like, ‘We’re not going to throw a bomb in here right before her wedding.’ When it does come to light, then I had to call it out.”
Joe and Melissa haven’t seen Louie and Teresa since filming ended for this season. So, will the Gorgas watch Teresa’s nuptials on television? “It’s pretty much the finale of our show, so I’m sure I will watch,” Melissa explained.
She continued, “I don’t know if Joe can watch, it is hurtful to him if I’m being honest. It’s so sad that he’s her only living relative and somehow he’s not there. It was just awful the way it went down.”
Cast members have taken sides in the wedding diss heard around the Bravoverse. Jackie Goldschneider sided with Melissa. Shocker! Margaret Josephs did attend the wedding but left early out of respect for the Gorgas. Teresa slammed Margaret for coming at all. Jennifer Aydin, who was in the bridal party, backed up Teresa and Louie.
I am not sure what will happen next season if Teresa, Melissa, and Joe can’t bridge the gap between their families. Melissa doesn’t plan on leaving, but it might not be her choice.
