Summer House is back, and the Good Vibe Tribe couldn’t be more out of whack. The relationship dynamics have shifted in more ways than one among the OGs. The cracks immediately revealed themselves on Day 1 at the shared house.
Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard’s relationship immediately began bothering their housemates, particularly Kyle Cooke who misses his best bud. The entire dynamic was even more muddled thanks to Carl working with Kyle and Amanda Batula at the time. Thankfully, he’s since left LoverBoy and moved on to fixing things with Cookie. It’s probably not only the best for their friendship, but also for Carl’s ongoing sobriety journey.
Lindsay is also having problems with her housemates, who think she’s being too controlling of Carlito. It’s going to lead to a major falling out between HubbHouse and her bestie Danielle Olivera during Season 7. There is absolutely no shortage of drama on Summer House this time around. After the premiere, Carl told People that he was pretty surprised at how much his relationship played a part in it.
Carl explained that he knew there’d be some growing pains on the show now that he and Lindsay are seriously romantic. He’s just trying to focus on his relationship, which seems to be an issue. “My priority was to hang out with her and have fun with her, which I think ruffled Kyle’s feathers at times,” Carl explained. However, Carlito has no regrets because he’s in love love love with his fiancée.
Lindsay also spoke during the interview about the tension she felt upon arriving in the Hamptons. Considering the longtime friendships at stake, she believes that the pressure was mounting all season. “Sometimes you walk in and things happen off-camera beforehand and we have to address those pretty much right away,” HubbHouse said. You can say that again. I already feel like I need to rewatch the Summer House Season 7 premiere to pick up on all the back-and-forth drama going on. It’s going to be a bumpy ride, folks.
