Vanderpump Rules has revived itself with Season 10. It was looking for a minute there like the show was doomed. Our (mostly former) SURvers just needed some time off to let true chaos brew. Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz kicked off the season by announcing their divorce.
Lala Kent is out for blood after dumping Randall Emmett, and not even her close friends are safe from her wrath. James Kennedy and Raquel Leviss have also split. It took James all of two seconds to move on (and in) with a new girl. Who may or may not look like his mom. Raquel, on the other hand, is coming into her own and entering her villain era. I’m absolutely living for it all.
Raquel is living her best single life as if she were a fresh face on Season 1 of Pump Rules. She’s taking lukewarm shots with Charli Burnett behind the bar and hooking up with her manager. The real tea is to come during Scheana Shay’s second royal wedding to Brock Davies. Raquel was feeling the love in the air that night and Schwartz was apparently feeling super depressed about being a divorcee.
The stars aligned and the two apparently hooked up that very night. Needless to say, Katie wasn’t happy. She gave her ex-husband one rule — don’t hook up with her friends. No wonder she broke off their marriage because Tom was bad at listening to her.
Katie hasn’t been shy about her disapproval of the Tom and Raquel of it all. By the looks of it, her explosive reaction stopped any real relationship from developing between the two.Tequila Katie is back to rage text (or Instagram post) about her horrible ex to her heart’s content. See? VPR really is back to the good old days.
The wound from Scheana’s wedding has not yet healed for Katie. The pain recently came out in some social media banter. Podcaster Danny Pellegrino posted on Twitter in support of being “firmly on #TeamKatieMaloney.” Schwartz apparently thought the tweet was an invitation for him to be a wife guy without a wife. “Me as well:),” Tom tweeted back. Katie wasn’t going to let him get off that easily.
According to Us Weekly, Katie posted a screenshot of the Twitter exchange to her Instagram Story with a shady caption. “OK sure #noregrets,” she said while tagging Tom. Katie seems to be referencing Tom’s lack of regrets when it comes to hooking up with Raquel. It doesn’t sound like the Bubbas’ plan to be divorced best friends is going all that well as of late.
