Real Housewives of Miami star Adriana de Moura isn’t having the best season. Her co-stars were reluctant to show up for her music video shoot. She was also feeling left out by Alexia Nepola (also known as Alexia Echevarria) and Marysol Patton.
When Kiki Barth and Guerdy Abraira were wrestling on the beach, they landed on Adriana’s foot. Barely. Adriana proclaimed her foot was “broken,” but Dr. Nicole Martin was less than impressed.
Adriana was having bestie Julia Lemigova push her in a wheelchair. Her RHOM co-stars thought Audrina was being extra to get attention.
During a boat ride to a private island, the ladies danced and sang along to Adriana’s song, “Fyah.” At the beach, she thanked her castmates for dancing to her song. But she felt ignored by the ladies due to her injury.
“It was an accident. It could have happened to any of us,” Alexia said.
“But accidents have consequences, as you know with Frankie [Rosello],” Adriana replied. That’s right—we have another Real Housewives analogy gone wrong. Shout out to Jackie Goldschneider!
The Cuban Barbie went off. Adriana should have expected this reaction when she brought up Alexia’s son Frankie.
Alexia took to Instagram to explain her feelings about her son’s accident. In 2011, Frankie was a passenger in a friend’s car and was involved in a near-fatal car crash. He was in a coma for three months and spent six months in a medical facility. He suffered brain damage from the accident.
“I will never recover from Frankie’s accident,” Alexia posted. “It’s only my wish that he can continue to improve in time, and he can be as ‘normal and productive’ as his limitations allow. I will never accept the loss of my dreams for him, and I will never give up on him or Peter [Rosello].”
She continued, “For anyone to use Frankie’s accident to compare or ‘connect’ their level of pain or suffering to what Frankie has endured is wrong ESPECIALLY when referring to a FAKE INJURY. I draw the line at Frankie when you intentionally want to hurt me,” the mom of two added.
Adriana was a guest on Page Six’s podcast,Virtual Reali-Tea and she broke down how she feels about her analogy now. Adriana said, “I regret using the analogy. It wasn’t correct and if I could take those words back, I would.”
The singer told Page Six, “Now when I look back at that time, I see that it was wrong to use the analogy. Obviously, the accident didn’t compare to Frankie’s — obviously — and I wasn’t trying to compare.”
She added, “I was trying to get some empathy from her and that was the point I was trying to make. I was like, ‘Please give some empathy.’” I wouldn’t hold my breath, Adriana.
During the RHOM episode, Alexia was emotional in her confessional. “Frankie’s accident changed my life, changed all of our lives, changed his brother Peter’s life. It’s been 11 years. It’s so hard,” she said as cried.
Adriana apologized to Alexia via text after the Bahamas trip. She even apologized at the recently filmed reunion. But Alexia has no interest in moving forward.
“It doesn’t matter how much I apologize and I’ve apologized profusely, like, pretty much down on my knees and she would not accept my apology,” Adriana explained.
“I have nothing but love and respect for Frankie and for her and all the things that they’ve accomplished together and this terrible journey that they were in. I just would not have done it,” she added.
TELL US- WILL ALEXIA EVER FORGIVE AUDRIANA? WAS THIS A CASE OF AUDRIANA NOT EXPLAINING HERSELF PROPERLY? DID SHE MEAN TO USE THE ANALOGY TO HURT ALEXIA?
