To be honest, I’ve been enjoying the necessary break from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Season 12 just got so toxic that it needed a little pause for me to enjoy the show again. Bravo giving Lisa Rinna the boot also helps boost morale around the show in general. Rinna’s reign finally collapsed after her most volatile season yet, and it’s time for our diamond-holders to shine brighter without her.
Kyle Richards oddly seemed at peace when Rinna‘s RHOBH announcement was made public. It’s not like she was overjoyed, but she seemed ready to move on. It’s probably because Rinna is responsible for ruining Kyle’s relationship with yet another one of her sisters. Kathy Hilton was right. Rinna is “the biggest bully in Hollywood.” Now, Kyle’s going to have to fight her own battles without Rinna defending her every step of the way.
One would expect Kyle to be upset to be losing a member of the Fox Force Five to back her up blindly on the show. However, according to an interview with Page Six, she and Rinna aren’t so buddy-buddy now that they’re no longer co-workers. You don’t say? “We were having some issues before. Obviously, you know that,” Kyle said during an Amazon Live video. “But we’ll get past that.”
Kyle did mention that she texted Rinna following her firing but seemed to insinuate they haven’t been hanging out much since. “I’m just moving on from everything and I had to put all that behind me, honestly,” Kyle said. Finally, we can all put Rinna behind us. We can only hope she can handle moving on as Garcelle Beauvais said. But it doesn’t seem like she’s going out without a little kicking and screaming. I wouldn’t mind a little return from Lisa Vanderpump to really get Kyle and her cronies shaking in their boots, especially now that Rinna’s not there to be distracting.
TELL US – ARE YOU SHOCKED TO HEAR THAT KYLE AND RINNA AREN’T CLOSE FRIENDS NOWADAYS? DO YOU THINK THEY’LL BECOME FRIENDS AGAIN OR SPLIT FURTHER APART NOW THAT THEY AREN’T BOTH ON RHOBH?
