Uh, oh! Real Housewives of Beverly Hill’s star Crystal Kung Minkoff is getting taken to court. According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Candice Shahandeh-Rad claims she was “suddenly and violently” hit by a car behind her last November. Apparently, her Audi was rear-ended and she ran into the car in front of her.
Based on the court documents, they say that Jeffrey Kung, Crystal’s brother, was driving the Mercedes-Benz during the accident. Candice says that Jeffrey “admitted he was distracted.” However, the documents don’t give a detailed explanation of how he was distracted.
TMZ reported that neither the Real Housewives star nor her movie director husband, Rob Minkoff, were in the car at the time. But Candice believes that the Benz belongs to them. She’s also claiming that Jeffrey is a driver for the Minkoff family.
The plaintiff is suing all three of them for “pain and mental suffering, anxiety and a loss of enjoyment of life due to the accident.”
Okay, now let’s dive into it. My first thoughts are that this sounds kind of fishy. But either way, I wonder if this will turn into something that develops on the show. I, of course, would be interested in seeing more of Crystal’s personal life. Maybe fans could even get a closer picture of her relationship with her family.
My point is she’s a great addition to the show, and I’m so happy she’s returning for another season. I think she brings something to the group that is needed. And now, with Lisa Rinna’s departure, I really think RHOBH has a chance to be THAT show again.
With Rinna being the messy villain she was, she brought the show down to another level of dirty. Her presence was just too much of an overload. Out of her, Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, and Kyle Richards, I’m not mad Bravo decided to give her the boot. What will Erika and Dorit be like without Rinna running her trap in the background? I guess we’ll have to wait and see. But I know that I am excited about Crystal’s return, along with the rest of the ladies.
