It’s been about two months since an all-star cast of Real Housewives invaded Morrocco. It was supposed to be an ultimate girls’ trip. But, unfortunately, it turned out to be the origin of one of the most disturbing headlines of the year: the incident between Brandi Glanville and Caroline Manzo.
While filming Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, Brandi allegedly delivered “unwanted” kisses and groping. The incident prompted her and Caroline to exit the trip early. Since then, Brandi has denied any wrongdoing. She’s even demanding the production company fork over any audio or video of the incident.
We’ve heard enough from Brandi at this point, and we’re finally hearing from Caroline about her side of the story. Sadly, it sounds like the incident still leaves her shaken.
As People reported, Caroline appeared on New York Live to promote her online cooking show. During her appearance, the Real Housewives of New Jersey alum opened up about her experience filming Season 4 of RHUGT.
“I can’t say much, only because it’s not good for my headspace, but it took a lot for me to go back [on a Housewives show],” Caroline admitted.
“[I was] going back with the best of intentions, with the highest of hopes, to do something fun. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out for me that way. I came home early.” She added, “And at this point, I just truly don’t have the space in my head to talk about it. So, I’d rather not but I would imagine it would unfold on the series when it airs and there’ll be a lot said then.”
According to sources close to the production, Brandi played a role in two lewd incidents that night. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum allegedly sent an apology text after discovering that her castmate was feeling uncomfortable about their interactions. However, due to the severity of the incident, production asked Brandi to leave the trip early.
Once the controversial headlines surfaced, Peacock and Shed Media released a statement. It read, “The safety and security of cast and crew while shooting is extremely important, and we take all reports seriously. In this situation, production immediately launched a comprehensive review and is taking appropriate action.”
As Caroline said, we’ll have to wait for Season 4 of RHUGT to air before we can hear her full side of the story. However, there’s no telling when that will actually be. We still have to get through the entire third season.
