Sometimes when I’m up at night with racing thoughts, I wonder what in the world happened to Real Housewives of New York. Our girls had one bad season and poof, Bravo made them disappear. The apple-holders might have needed a pause, especially Ramona Singer, but why did we all have to be punished with their absence? C’mon, Andy Cohen, we’ve suffered long enough. In the words of Ru Paul, bring back my girls.
The RHONY cast is full of legends. Seriously, don’t even get me started on the eternal light that is Sonja Morgan. Luann de Lesseps is one OG who is one of the coolest to ever do it. The Countess likes to keep it classy and cover any uncool behavior with a bit of cabaret. Lu also, like her co-stars, only seems to get more gorgeous with age. The RHONY dolls posting thirst traps on Instagram is all we have to hold onto these days.
While I’m always happy to see any RHONY alum flexing on Instagram, some people just want to watch the world burn. That’s the only explanation I could come up with as to why Luann had to respond to absolute HATERS who said she was too old to be posing on Instagram in a bikini. Seriously, Page Six reported that jealousy was a disease in the Countess’s comment section. Lu responded with a video to defend her post AND her hot bod. It’s classic Countess behavior.
In the Instagram video, Lu included a screenshot of a comment on her post that read, “Way too old boo!!” The Countess had time for a lesson in class today and taught these haters exactly what confidence is. “I’m proud of the fact that I can still rock a bikini at this age,” Luann said in the video. “Women should be able to wear whatever they want at any age, as long as they feel good.” Facts. How about people take this energy and channel it toward bullying Bravo into bringing RHONY back on our screens ASAP? That would be light-years more productive.
