90 Day Fiancé Season 3 might have aired back in 2015, but couples such as Alexei Brovarnik and Loren Goldstone keep the plot lines of the season fresh in the heads of many viewers. Plenty of bombshell moments occurred for a number of the six featured couples, including notorious pair Nikki and Mark Shoemaker. This made 90 Day Fiancé Season 3 memorable due to its dramatic scenes that are still remembered eight years later.
Mark Treats Nikki Like A Child
Mark and Nikki were hands down the most notorious couple featured on 90 Day Fiancé Season 3. The older American man was 57 when he brought the young Filipina woman to the US. This earned the couple plenty of backlash and even led to them suing the 90 Day Fiancé franchise unsuccessfully after becoming villains.
One of the most memorable aspects of Mark and Nikki’s relationships was how Mark treated Nikki like a child. Nikki was actually younger than all of Mark’s kids. He made viewers uncomfortable by controlling her, such as not allowing her to touch the windows to his car. Mark even forced Nikki to wear his daughter’s old clothing.
Josh Wants Aleksandra to Convert
The 90 Day Fiancé franchise has featured a number of Mormon and previously Mormon cast members. Meanwhile, numerous conservative cast members have asked for their partner to change. This was also the case for 90 Day Fiancé Season 3 couple Aleksandra Iarovikova and Josh Strobel, as Josh wanted Aleksandra to convert to Mormonism.
The issue with Josh and Aleksandra was that Aleksandra lived a very un-Mormon life. The Russian woman worked as a club go-go dancer, drank alcohol, and partied. This made her seem like a very unlikely partner for conservative, Mormon man Josh. However, Josh encouraged her to change religions in order to be with him. Surprisingly this worked out, as Josh and Aleksandra are still married in 2023.
Loren Opens Up About Tourette’s Syndrome
90 Day Fiancé Season 3 was the start of Alexei and Loren joining the 90 Day Fiancé franchise. The American woman fell in love with the Ukrainian man while she was in Israel for her Birthright Trip. Alexei and Loren have had mostly a smooth-sailing relationship since, as they welcomed three kids to the world. However, they faced a major early hurdle when Loren opened up about having Tourette’s syndrome.
Loren first told viewers about having Tourette’s syndrome during 90 Day Fiancé Season 3, which was very difficult for her at the time even though she is more comfortable discussing the condition now. She also faced a very stressful ordeal when she told Alexei’s parents she had the nervous system condition. Fortunately, they turned out to be extremely accepting of Loren, though she later had to reveal it could be hereditary and thus could pass to her future offspring.
Kyle Reconnects With His Mom
Beloved 90 Day Fiancé Season 3 couple Noon and Kyle Huckabee actually had very little drama with each other. The Thai woman and American man knew it was love from the start and have since been regarded as one of the most normal franchise couples to date.
However, Kyle and Noon did have some issues with their families. Noon’s family couldn’t attend their wedding during the 90 days, while Kyle was estranged from his mother. Noon helped her future husband reconnect with his mother in an emotional 90 Day Fiancé plot line. Unfortunately, Kyle’s mother still chose not to come to their wedding at the end of the season.
