It’s still about Tom. Years after the infamous Real Housewives of New York City Season 8 scandal, where Bethenny Frankel rocked Luann de Lesseps’s world with a picture of her then-fiance kissing another woman at The Regency, we’re getting more bizarre details about how that iconic moment unfolded.
According to Carole Radziwill, it was actually Michael Cohen, yes, Donald Trump’s former attorney, who snapped the infamous picture. Let’s all take a deep, calming breath and acknowledge how bizarre this is. New York City is a wild place, and we’re here to sort through the details of this mystery.

Carole sat down with Heather McDonald on her Juicy Scoop podcast and shared the shocking revelation about how Trump’s former lawyer was allegedly involved in the Tom D’agostino fiasco.
“Six months ago, maybe eight months ago, I’m having dinner downtown with a friend of mine who is in the movie business,” Carole said on the podcast. “In walks Michael Cohen, who is Trump’s lawyer. Michael wrote a book, and he wanted to talk to my friend about maybe doing something with the book. I’m like, ‘Oh my god, f–ing Michael Cohen is at dinner.'”
Through dinner, Carole learned that Michael was super-familiar with her and the rest of the New York City Housewives, namedropping Bethenny, Sonja Morgan, Dorinda Medley, and of course, Countess Luann.
“We started talking about Tom and the wedding,” Carole continued. “He goes, ‘Of course I know Tom. Who do you think took the picture?’ I was like, ‘Wait, what did you say?’ and he says, ‘Who do you think took the picture at The Regency?'”
Can you imagine the look on Carole’s face when Michael said that to her? How is it possible for New York City to be so small? Carole continued to explain that Michael knew Dennis Shields, Bethenny’s late boyfriend. “They both lived in Trump Tower, and they were friends,” Carole revealed.
So, when messy Michael saw Tom misbehaving at The Regency, he snapped the photos and sent them to Dennis, who then forwarded them to Bethenny. The rest is reality TV history… or was this alternate history? Because let’s consider the source. Is Trump’s former lawyer known for being an arbiter of truth?
