While the Real Housewives often produce amazingly dramatic seasons, viewers shouldn’t sleep on the reunion specials. What was once a one-hour segment at the end of the series has now turned into two or even three parters.
The women of each city are allowed to confront one another over the shade and comments each told over the episodes. There are often screaming matches and even sometimes a brawl. Andy Cohen will often try his best to settle the women down, but he usually loses his own voice yelling at them, too. These are the most shocking Real Housewives reunions that still have fans talking.
Bunnygate
At the end of Season 7 of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kim Richards and Lisa Rinna were still not on good terms even though the soap actress sent an olive branch to the new grandmother. What will forever go down in 90210 franchise history was an uncomfortable return of a stuffed blue bunny. During the season, Lisa decided to buy a peace offering for Kim, who was celebrating welcoming her first grandchild to the family.
When the reunion rolled around, curious fans wondered how the two ladies were doing in their relationship. In a very dramatic move, Kim revealed to the cast that she couldn’t accept the gift, let alone give it to her grandson. At the time, Kim noted, “It didn’t feel like it had good energy.” Lisa was understandably shocked and let one stray tear roll down her face before she left the stage.
Porsha Blacks Out
During the Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 7, tensions ran high as Porsha Williams and Kenya Moore kept baiting one another during the tell-all. Between exchanging insults, which included an iconic line from Porsha who said, “You’re a slut from the 90s,” neither one could get a word in edge-wise. While Kenya tried to implement props like a scepter and bullhorn, Porsha was having none of it. In a stupid escalation, Kenya noted she would be getting Porsha fired, which led to her co-star lunging for her.
Porsha grabbed Kenya’s hair, pulling her down to the ground. Porsha then dragged Kenya while Andy frantically screamed, “No! No! No! Stop!” While Kenya lay in shock, Porsha cried out, saying she had blacked out. She kept repeating, “I’ve been through so much! “I can’t believe I did that! I have embarrassed myself; I can’t believe that wretched ho made me go there.”
Teresa Gets Called Out by Cousin
Teresa Giudice has become used to burning bridges left and right, but no one thought she would stoop as low as to talk about her cousins, Kathy Wakile and Rosie Pierri‘s dead father. Yet during Season 4, that is exactly what happened. Viewers learned that Kathy’s mother and Teresa’s father had their own falling out years prior and didn’t talk for almost a decade. During the reunion, Teresa and Kathy got into a heated discussion, which caused Rosie to see red.
While standing backstage, Rosie became so heated she started screaming about wanting to rip off Teresa’s head. Her shouting didn’t go unnoticed, with Teresa pretending to make faces at the outburst. Rosie continued telling Tre, “She better watch her fu*king tongue or I’ll cut it right out.”
RHONY Text Battle
Season 10 of the Real Housewives of New York City was pretty sad, as it showed the demise of Bethenny Frankel‘s friendship with Carole Radziwill. For seasons, the two women had been best friends, but a weird wedge came between the two that left viewers in shock. The relationship couldn’t get back on track, as the reunion solidified the end. The two played a game of insult tennis as they lobbed accusations back and forth.
At one point, both women took out their phones to show their receipts, hoping to discredit the other. The argument centered around a man named Brian from speed dating, who Bethenny had listed as “Brian in the Red Scarf Speed Dating Guy.” It seems the Skinny Girl founder claimed to have tried to set Carole up, to which the writer denied that ever happened. While feverishly reading out the text, Carole tells Bethenny to “get off her jock.”
Andy, usually the voice of reason, noted Bethenny wasn’t lying, as he read out, “I can easily set you up with Carole,” to which Bethenny jumped out of her seat screaming “Booyah b-tch!”
No Talent Kim
The entire first season of the Real Housewives of Atlanta left fans confused as to whether or not Kim Zolciak and NeNe Leakes were actually friends. During the Season 1 reunion, NeNe didn’t hold back her opinions of Kim’s singing talent and relationship with Big Papa. The mother of two straight up told Andy she didn’t think Kim “could sing,” stating, “This is my opinion.”
While talking about her relationship with the married man, Kim revealed that her romance was on again and off again, noting the show had taken its toll. Kim went on to tell the host that Big Papa felt NeNe was “trouble,” but the former stripper felt Kim had just made the information up. NeNe shut down the discussion when she told Kim, “Close your legs to married men!”
