House of Villains is exactly what some former reality stars needed, and not just in the chance to win money, but in the free exposure. But perhaps no one has benefited more from E!’s new show than Jax Taylor.
The former Vanderpump Rules star has been getting plenty of extra coverage thanks to his new show. However, that isn’t to say it hasn’t taken a toll on Mr. Taylor. Just a few days ago, it came out that Tiffany “New York” Pollard made him cry in the Villain’s Lair.
Now, a recent promotional clip revealed that Jax has faced betrayal at the hands of Shake Chatterjee of Love Is Blind fame. Jax wasn’t all too happy about the turn of events, so thank goodness he’s at least getting his free exposure.
Shake claims Jax doesn’t need the winnings
PEOPLE first shared the preview, which saw Shake talking with Bobby Lytes, beginning, “So, our boy Jax.” Bobby responded with, “Mhm?” Shake went on, “All I hear from him is about his wonderful wife and his vintage car collection.” Little did Shake know that Jax was just outside in the hallway. He went on, “A deal for two million. Yeah, he doesn’t need the money.”
Bobby tried to signal to Shake that Jax was outside, but it was too late. The VPR star said, “Hey, yes I do need the money.” Shake shouted, “Dammit! Where’d you pop out of?” Jax responded, “I’m everywhere. I’m trying to be your friend and you’re talking behind my back.” As for the money, Jax said, “You don’t pay California taxes.”
Bobby said he hadn’t made a decision yet on who he wanted to send home. Jax told the camera in a confessional, “I’m giving him free knowledge. I just feel like I’m playing this f*cking game the wrong way.” Shake said, “Some of us need [the money] more than others.” Jax told him to beat him in the challenge. Once on his own, Bobby rhetorically asked, “Are you dumb?”
House of Villains airs tonight, Thursday, at 10/9c on E!.
