Real Housewives of Potomac is returning to Bravo in November, which means new drama and new taglines. The RHOP ladies know how to deliver a killer one-liner, and there has been no shortage of iconic taglines in the last seven seasons. In honor of the show returning, let’s take a look back at some of the best Real Housewives of Potomac taglines.

“In Potomac, It’s Not About Who You Know, It’s Who You Are. And I’m Everything” – Karen Huger

Karne Huger is the Grand Dame of Potomac and she knows it. Karen’s Season 1 tagline perfectly sums up her role on the show. She’s the Queen B of her friend group and will stop at nothing to ensure no one comes for her crown.

“Word on the Street Is, I’m Still the Word on the Street”- Gizelle Bryant

Some people repeat outfits, but Gizelle Bryant repeats taglines. The green-eyed beauty is known for recycling her taglines. Gizelle’s Season 2 tagline is almost exactly the same as her Season 1 tagline, except she added the word “still.” We love Gizelle’s bold decision to reuse a tagline, and we think she’s one of the only women in the franchise who could get away with it.

“I’ve Played by Potomac Rules, Now It’s Time to Play By My Own” – Ashley Darby

Ashley Darby was on shaky ground in the first season of RHOP. The women weren’t exactly welcoming to her and she had to put in the work to win over the ladies. But by the time Season 2 rolled around, Ashley had solidified her place within the group and no longer had to play anybody’s game (and by anyone, we’re talking about Gizelle, obviously). The tagline sums up her arc on the show nicely.

“If You Can’t Handle Me Being the Word on the Street, Then Stop Listening” – Gizelle Bryant

Okay, it was funny the first time but it’s even funnier the second time. The fact that Gizelle recycled the “word on the street” tagline not once but twice has us dying laughing. She’s so funny for that.

“The Shorter My Hair, the Shorter My Patience” – Robyn Dixon

Robyn Dixon‘s taglines usually involve some kind of basketball reference because of her relationship with former basketball star Juan Dixon. But in Season 4, she took a different route. She put the NBA references to bed when she delivered the tagline, “The shorter my hair, the shorter my patience.” We’re obsessed with Robyn basing her tagline on her new chic haircut. She was grasping at straws with that one and we don’t care. We love it!

“Reading Is Fundamental, and Honey, I Own the Library” – Candiace Dillard-Bassett

Candiace Dillard-Bassett‘s Season 5 tagline suits her so well. The Howard University alum is the queen of shade and never fails to deliver a devastating remark about one of her co-stars. From attacking their physical appearances to dissing their relationships, Candiace is a force to be reckoned with. We certainly wouldn’t want to be on her bad side.

“Now That I Got My Baby, That’s the Only Crap I Take” – Ashley Darby

I mean, this has to be the first poop reference in a tagline, right? Either way, it’s iconic…and a little gross.

“This Professor Doesn’t Just Grade on the Curve, She Sets the Curve” – Wendy Osefo

Wendy Osefo‘s Season 6 tagline conveys confidence, intelligence, and humor, which perfectly sums her up. We can’t deny that Wendy has accomplished a lot in her lifetime, and her presence on the show definitely raised the bar for housewives everywhere.

“The Grande Dame can never be duplicated, imitated, or intimidated” – Karen Huger

Karen’s Season 6 tagline is everything we love about the Grand Dame. She’s dramatic, glamorous, and a bit cocky.
