Kody Brown Given $6.5k to Republican Candidates Despite ‘Major Money Problems’

Over the last few years, the Sister Wives empire has completely fallen. Kody Brown is down to just one wife. His kids are estranged. He’s dealing with a lot of changes right now. However, one thing that has stayed consistent is his financial struggle.

On the show, we saw him purchase their Coyote Pass property with hopes and dreams of building properties for all the wives and their kids. That never happened because he was constantly strapped for cash. You’d think being on reality television for 18 seasons would at least help them get some construction done, but that hasn’t been the case.

While Kody and his ex-wives all struggle with the financial repercussions of their plural marriage, The U.S. Sun has uncovered that he’s been donating a good chunk of money to Republican candidates over the last couple of years. It turns out he had some cash after all.

Kody’s secret stash of cash

Now, it’s not clear if this was money that Kody was keeping under his mattress or where this cash came from. But, according to the Federal Election Commission, Kody made 40 contributions between July 2020 and August 2023, for a whopping total of $6,473.01.

To offer more clarity on these donations, Kody gave $520.51 to 2024 far-right presidential candidate, Vivek Ramaswamy. In the summer of 2022, he donated four separate times to the US Concealed Carry Association for Saving Lives. After Donald Trump lost the 2020 presidential election, Kody donated a total of $500 to the self-proclaimed billionaire.

Meanwhile, his ex Janelle Brown is on television having a full-blown breakdown because she’s been financially devastated by their breakup. She recently admitted that she’s in a pickle because in 2018, she put all of her money towards the lifeless Coyote Pass.

“I am a smart woman and I have done this very dumb thing,” Janelle admitted. “I’m really stuck. I’m 50 and I have nothing.”

That $6,500 could have, at least, helped Janelle get set up with a nice little apartment or something. Instead, Kody decided to donate his extra cash to Republican candidates and causes. That’s bound to have the same return on investment as Coyote Pass.

TELL US – DO YOU THINK IT WAS APPROPRIATE FOR KODY TO DONATE TO POLITICAL CAUSES WHILE COMPLAINING ABOUT FINANCES? DO YOU THINK THEY WILL SELL COYOTE PASS?
