Southern Charm alum Kathryn Dennis doesn’t seem to be having an easier time with life even though she’s left the show. This is a woman who has been struggling for a very long time.
There are rumors she was fired. Kathryn may or may not have lost joint custody of her two children. And if you’ve watched Southern Charm, you already know she has battled substance abuse. Now it looks like Kathryn has gotten herself into another real pickle. Allegedly.
Another hit-and-run for Bravo
According to WCSC Live 5 News, a horrible situation happened on Friday, October 20. At 7:30 AM right in front of Whitesville Elementary School, an automobile driver hit the school’s resource officer.
The SRO who has yet to be named was immediately transported to the hospital with minor injuries. Previous incorrect reports of the accident stated he died, but thankfully he’ll be okay.
The 2022 Ford left the scene after the officer was struck. Later both the car and the driver were found at the address of the registered owner in Moncks Corner. Law enforcement has confirmed the car owner is none other than “Kathryn” but they do NOT know if she was behind the wheel at the time.
Additionally, authorities have not revealed if this is the same Kathryn from Moncks Corner who appeared on Southern Charm, but I mean … At this time no charges have been filed, but someone definitely needs to be punished for this. It’s one thing to mow someone down on a busy street, but an elementary school crossing? People do actually stand in the middle of the road to assist, you know, SMALL CHILDREN.
Unfortunately, 2023 doesn’t seem to be getting any better for Kathryn, so hopefully she can turn things around. After being evicted from her apartment, Kathryn has been staying at her dad’s place, Lewisfield Plantation. She is currently allowed supervised visitation with her children.
