It is absolutely impossible to keep up with the relationship status of Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann as their contentious divorce rages on, and that extends to their money woes. One minute cops are refereeing their blowout fights. The next minute Kroy’s accompanying Kim to get her vagina tweaked.
One thing that has remained consistent throughout this trainwreck is The Real Housewives of Atlanta and Don’t Be Tardy alums’ money problems. They owe taxes. Their house is in pre-foreclosure. A Target Red Card balance was past due. Their debts have stretched past $1 million.
The situation has now gotten worse. A bank is coming for Kim and Kroy after they allegedly flaked on a large loan and skipped court.
Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann love money: They took out a $300,000 home equity line of credit
According to Radar Online, the couple took out a $300,000 home equity line of credit that was supposed to mature by December 2016. Kim and Kroy kept extending the deadline. It went from August 2017 and then to December 2017.
By 2018, Kim and Kroy acknowledged that they still owed about $271,000. They agreed to start paying $1,132.46 a month starting that February and ending in January 2038.
The last payment Simmons Bank received from them was in October 2022.
Documents show that Kim and Kroy failed to show up to court after Simmons Bank served them with legal paperwork on July 5, 2023. They received the filing on August 16 and had until September 15 to respond. That never happened.
Simmons Bank is now requesting the balance be paid in full since Kim and Kroy are in default. The bank’s records show they still owe $213k of the loan and $1,700 in interest.
It’s a good thing the Zolciak-Biermann house is finally on the market for $6 million. At this rate, that won’t even come close to being enough to take care of all of their money issues. Can a rejuvenated vagina be repossessed?
We’ll probably see Kim and Kroy again soon when they inevitably reappear on the bodycam of a Milton, GA police officer. Kim will also be on the upcoming season of The Surreal Life sometime in 2024.
