Mauricio Umansky and his dance partner Emma Slater shared an intimate sushi dinner in Beverly Hills on October 22. A restaurant server reported seeing the couple exchange kisses at the bar inside. Afterward, photographers caught them holding hands as they strolled to their vehicle, Emma’s arm wrapped around Mo’s waist.
Though she was previously supportive of his Dancing with the Stars gig, estranged wife Kyle Richards isn’t loving the PDA. She quietly deleted an Instagram post she created last month asking fans to vote for her husband of 27 years.
Though she was in the audience for the Season 32 premiere, Kyle hasn’t attended a performance since. The theme of tonight’s show is “Most Memorable Year.” Each contestant and their dance partners will perform a routine inspired by a pivotal year in their lives.
More than just dance partners?
Ahead of the show, Mauricio dedicated his performance to Kyle and their four daughters: Portia, Sophia, Alexia, and stepdaughter Farrah Aldjufrie.
“Tonight’s Dance … is about life and how it’s not always perfect,” Mo wrote on his Instagram page. “When you think it’s impossible to move mountains … and you think all doors are closed, you need to rise up … and move mountains.”
“My time was 1996 when Kyle and I got married and Alexia was born,” he continued. “We had Farrah and Alexia. I was 26 when I was fired from my job and was broke. Kyle was my rock and together we rose up … and we moved mountains, a lot of them. It’s been an incredible journey. Tonight’s dance is dedicated to Kyle and my Family. Some #BTS.”
Though he admitted to a separation in September, they are not yet ready to “throw in the towel.” Initially insisting that there was “no wrongdoing on anyone’s part,” there was mention of an “affair” in the trailer for the upcoming season of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Dancing with the Stars airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on ABC and Disney+.
