There’s a time in life to leave reality TV, and Southern Charm star Chelsea Meissner knew when that was for her. The trend with the Southern Charm ladies of seasons past seem to follow a step in maturity and need for privacy. Contrast that with the male cast, who all seem to suffer from Peter Pan syndrome and will seemingly never change their lifestyle.
Cameran Eubanks made the most notable exit to focus on her family after vicious rumors of infidelity in her marriage surfaced. Naomie Olindo and Chelsea left in 2020, on the heels of her exit. And the latter stayed mostly out of the spotlight since then.
But the stylish hairdresser resurfaced in 2023 to share a very special announcement with fans. Chelsea became pregnant with her first child, and gave birth earlier in the fall. Recently, the Southern Charm alum gave an update on life one month postpartum.
Chelsea was concerned about hair loss postpartum
Chelsea’s postpartum message was a post to Instagram Stories on October 19, according to Bravo. The blonde beauty recommended a new healthy hair routine to followers. As a hairstylist, it makes sense that she would partner with a supplement to keep her coif healthy postpartum. It is common to experience varying degrees of hair loss after delivering a baby.
“I am one month postpartum and one thing that I really wanted to try to stay on top of was my hair health,” Chelsea said. “I’m a hairstylist so I have seen it all, and I really wanted to make sure that I got on some kind of daily routine to make sure that I didn’t have a whole lot of thinning [or] shedding.”
Proof that the product works is visible on the Southern Charm alum, who is rocking full and healthy hair.
Chelsea went public in April 2023 to announce her pregnancy. She showed off her sonogram photos in a video to Instagram, but did not reveal the sex of the baby. There was a hint in her choice of music though. She set the video to Jack Johnson’s “My Little Girl.” “Arriving September 2023” was written as a caption.
Chelsea also posted, “I’m so fortunate to have strong women in my life who have paved the road for me to motherhood and lucky to have one hell of a man! Here’s to a thick girl summer.”
In a public post a few months before giving birth, Chelsea showed off her bump at 32 weeks. The former reality TV star is wearing a bikini and looking radiant in a series of photos taken at the beach.
