The custody situation allegedly deteriorates further. Southern Charm alum Kathryn Dennis has had a difficult time getting on track regarding the children she shares with ex-boyfriend Thomas Ravenel.
In February 2023, she lost custody of Kensie, 9, and Saint, 7, as a result of multiple failed drug tests. Since then, she has been allowed supervised visitation every other weekend from 9 am to 4:30 pm. But the situation hasn’t been as stable as appears on paper.
The last visit lasted only an hour
The U.S. Sun got exclusive tips from a source that claimed Saint and Kensie have not seen their mother since the start of August.
“She hasn’t paid for the supervisor. The last time she had a supervisor and picked them up was in April,” the insider stated.
In June, the children got to see Kathryn before embarking on a seven-week sleep-away camp. Thomas covered the costs for the supervisor to allow the visits.
But the reunion was short-lived. Thomas organized a brief meeting once the children returned from camp. Since then, the insider alleged that Saint and Kensie have not seen their mother in person.
“When they returned from camp August, Thomas was in Charleston and let her see them for an hour. She hasn’t seen them since August,” the source claimed.
However, according to the source, Kathryn has been diligent with video calls and “has been good about keeping in touch over FaceTime.”
“She FaceTimes twice a week for about 15 minutes. She wanted to do it every day, but the kids are busy with school, homework, and extracurricular activities,” the insider explained.
Regarding a September Instagram post that showed Kathryn posing with her children, the source claimed it was an outdated photo.
Unfortunately, a recent incident on October 20 may complicate Kathryn’s custody bid further. A hit and run that allegedly involved the Southern Charm star was reported outside the Whitesville Elementary School in South Carolina. The driver allegedly drove off after hitting a pedestrian. Kathryn was found to be the registered owner of the vehicle.
