The new season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is finally here, and RHOBH’s Sutton Stracke is already making us laugh. I’m sure we are all wondering how the friendship dynamics have changed since last season. And even more so now that Lisa Rinna was given the boot.
It sounds like one cast member’s relationships changed for the better this season. Sutton recently told Deadline where she stands with castmate Crystal Kung Minkoff and her sometimes nemesis Erika Jayne.
RHOBH’s Sutton Stracke is mending fences
Sutton shared that she and Crystal “have gotten close” recently. She added that they “have worked out all of our differences and really have come to such a great place. I think we’ve both grown since her first season and came to this really great understanding.”
As for Erika, it’s a little more complicated. “Erika and I have this great love-hate relationship and sometimes we love each other and sometimes we hate each other,” Sutton revealed.
Which is something that Sutton traces back to Rinna. She noted, “I think the dynamic within the whole group changed. We got to see Erika in a different light and she was fine and she talked a lot, she was just different. But also, she’s in a different place in her life. So, it was nice to see that evolution of Erika. I don’t know if it’s because of Lisa but the whole cast was just lighter this year.”
While Sutton doesn’t pin all the blame on Rinna, there is certainly no love lost for her either. The sustainable clothing entrepreneur explained, “I do not miss [Rinna] on the show. I wish her well.” Welp! “I personally think that Lisa and I needed a break. I think it would’ve been hard.”
She concluded, “Who knows, we could’ve maybe resolved the problems in our friendship had she been cast with us this season but I haven’t spoken to Lisa since the reunion. So, I don’t know.”
