During Kyle Richards’ recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, host Andy Cohen wasted no time asking all about her separation from her husband, Mauricio Umansky. If timing is everything, Kyle needs a new watch. Mauricio and his Dancing with the Stars partner, Emma Slater, were photographed holding hands days earlier. So Kyle’s WWHL appearance came at an interesting moment, to say the very least.
While Mauricio and Emma tried to explain away the photo, most fans felt it made them look guilty. And Kyle seems to feel the same way. HollywoodLife has the scoop.
Kyle wasn’t thrilled to be in the WWHL hot seat
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star shared that she is “doing OK” since her separation from Mauricio. She actually decided that she wanted the separation. As for how she felt answering Andy’s questions? She admitted that discussing her marital issues wasn’t “good.”
And Andy went there about the photo. Duh. “I was taken aback. That was very hard to see,” Kyle responded. “That hurt my feelings. The thing is this: I don’t know if anything has happened yet, but obviously, there’s something there. Listen, I love him very much and we are amicable, but that really did hurt me,” the actress added.
After seeing the photo, Kyle deleted a positive Instagram post about the dancing duo. But, she did decide to vote for them. “I have proof that I did too. I even sent the proof to the family chat,” Kyle stated. “I did my vote, and I sent the screenshot to the family chat.” Keep the receipts, girl!
So, where do Kyle and Mauricio go from here? According to Mauricio, it sounded as if they were trying to work everything out. I doubt that seeing that photo bumped up their chances of a reconciliation. Viewers have already seen the tension in their marriage during the RHOBH Season 13 premiere. It looks like Kyle is facing another rough season.
