Throughout the years, there have been some juicy Real Housewives seasons that fans have found hard to forget. The Bravo franchises have captivated audiences for over a decade as the network aimed to bring the life of glitz to the TV, making us small-time city people green with envy.
The drama has kept viewers enthralled—hook, line, and sinker. Between the Real Housewives of New Jersey’s infamous table flip to the Real Housewives of Atlanta wig snatch, felt around the world, some seasons stand out more than others.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 1
Arguably, this is one of the best casts ever to hold diamonds. The group of ladies consisted of Lisa Vanderpump, Kyle Richards, Kim Richards, Adrienne Maloof, Taylor Armstrong, and Camille Grammer.
The season centered around Taylor’s marriage issues with Russell Armstrong. It introduced Brandi Glanville as a ‘friend of’ who did not waste time shaking up the women and their fancy beliefs. Kim and Kyle showed that blood isn’t always thicker than water. The season came to an end after Kyle and Kim got into a fight about their mother’s home in Palm Springs.
The Real Housewives of New York Season 8
Our Messiah returned as Bethenny Frankel chose to grace the small screen again. The ladies of the Big Apple embraced the tears and breakups, along with a few laughs. Season 8 showed Bethenny’s struggle to divorce ex-husband Jason Hoppy and added a new face, Jules Wainstein. Along for the ride were Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, Carole Radziwill, and Dorinda Medley. The Countess thought she fell in love with Tom D’Agostino, but it turns out he was just a loser in aluminum. Ramona was also newly single and looking to spread her flirting wings.
The main drama occurred when Sonja tried to create her own liquor business, naming it TipsyGirl. Bethenny did not take the news well, especially after she had helped the socialite with her toaster idea. Dorinda also has a hard time integrating her boyfriend, John, into the group, and this is the time when fans start to see her relationship sour.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 3
Mama Mia, was this a season to reckon with! Melissa Gorga and Kathy Wakile, Teresa Giudice’s own family members, join the show, and the shit hits the fan. Even though the season gets really stressful, Caroline Manzo’s family thankfully supplied the comic relief, but the Giudice/Gorga battle still raged on. This is the season that the infamous Catskill fight occurred between the two Joes, and no one ever recovered from the amount of blood and hairspray that was shed.
The entire cast also went to the Dominican Republic, which showed Teresa and Melissa duking it out for the title of the hottest couple. But to be honest, at the time, they looked so much alike. The season ended with Teresa splitting from her family and choosing to walk her own path.
The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10
The franchise that started it all just kept getting better with age. Season 10’s cast included Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Judge, Heather Dubrow, Shannon Beador, and Meghan King Edmonds. The main drama that kept viewers tossing back the popcorn was between Meghan and Vicki. The newbie had spotted some holes in Brooks Ayers‘ cancer story and was like a dog with a bone. As fans later learned, she was not wrong about Vicki’s sketchy boyfriend.
The season also gives some insight into Shannon and David Beador’s failing relationship as it was revealed he had an affair. The season showed them working on their relationship, which included healing therapy. Spoiler alert—it didn’t work.
The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 5
Honestly, all of the Real Housewives of Potomac season are decent. However, Season 5 took the cake thanks to the fight between Monique Samuels and Candiace Dillard Bassett. The hoedown throwdown took place at a winery in front of all of the women and included a high-speed chase on heels as Monique tried to catch the singer. Needless to say, the green-eyed bandits were severely disappointed.
The rest of the season showed Ashley Darby trying to fix her marriage to Michael Darby. The Australian had a hobby of hooking up with women and kept getting caught. Candiace also decided to take legal action against Monique, but the case was later dropped. This would be Monique’s last season after she started to feel a lack of support from the other women.
