Vanderpump Rules Season 10 came out swinging with the drama. The scandalous affair between Tom Sandoval and Rachel Leviss had audiences glued to their seats. When all was said and done, the season even scored an Emmy nomination.
However, all that success left an important question: where can the show go from here? With Rachel gone and everyone justifiably hating Tom, it seemed like the show had limited options. Of course, with reality TV, everything’s unpredictable.
While Ariana Madix came out as the stalwart hero of VPR Season 10, dynamics can change just as quickly as they began. Now, Lala Kent has teased some unexpected changes for the upcoming Season 11.
Did Lala go behind Ariana’s back?
On the October 25 episode of her podcast Give Them Lala, the host acknowledged that she and Ariana always had a “great friendship,” but teased, “We’ll see what the feels are after the season airs.” She made the comment as a response to a fan question, asking where she and Ariana’s friendship stood.
Lala further teased, “We’re always open and honest with each other as a cast but then you see things where you’re like wait a minute, pump the brakes here. And for some reason, I always say something. Something that doesn’t land right … So I don’t know. Right now, we’re good.”
Regardless, Lala explained that Scandoval was a “bonding experience” for the show’s women. “When you have a common hatred for someone, not saying that we’re there now, the hate part, but when that happened and we were all [angry with] Sandoval, it’s like bonding moment.” She also teased “uncomfortable conversations,” but perhaps stronger bonds as a result.
Vanderpump Rules is expected to return to Bravo in early 2024.
