Wow, is something happening here or is that just wishful thinking? Former friends Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump both attended BravoCon 2023 but didn’t have an impromptu meeting. What did happen is Lisa commented on Kyle’s marriage after she was asked about the infamous separation.
Lisa, for her part, was very empathetic when speaking about Kyle’s troubles. One might even go so far as to say Lisa was gentle and almost hopeful for Kyle and Mauricio Umansky to work things out due to their great love for each other. Word got back to Kyle about Lisa’s thoughts and all I can say is, can these two please make up so LVP can get back to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills where she belongs?
Is there a light at the end of the tunnel?
One of the most heartbreaking friendship losses the Real Housewives franchise has gone through would be that of Kyle and Lisa. These two basically helped to bring RHOBH to greatness until Season 9 when everything collapsed. When the majority of the cast turned on LVP, she was out and never looked back. Unfortunately, the leader of the puppygate girl gang pack was Kyle.
Now Kyle is going through her own problems and naturally, Lisa was asked about it at BravoCon. While Kyle could have taken Lisa’s comments out of context and felt some type of way, instead she’s praising Lisa for her kindness.
According to Page Six, Kyle said, “I really appreciated her words. That was very, very kind of her.” Then Kyle even had a nod to Lisa’s longtime marriage with the legend, the icon, the man, Ken Todd. “Lisa also has a long marriage and a successful marriage,” Kyle added.
She continued, “I still consider Mauricio’s and my marriage a successful marriage. And even the way we’re handling it now, I feel like we’re doing it the right way as best as we possibly can,” Kyle shared.
Kyle isn’t the only one with a shaky marriage
Kyle isn’t alone in marriage troubles. Her co-star Dorit Kemsley is also having a rough time with her husband PK. Much like Kyle, Dorit also said she’s working on her marriage and at this time, has no intentions of filing for divorce.
It isn’t exactly an invite for Lisa and Kyle to regroup and reunite, but maybe it’s a start. As for LVP, she’ll go home from BravoCon to her 41-year marriage, her mansion on a mountain, and her buckets of money and puppies.
