It turns out Vicki Gunvalson was relatable at BravoCon 2023. Like many people, Vicki isn’t a fan of Teddi Mellencamp, and that’s probably because Teddi has been named as Tamra Judge’s BFF, by Tamra. Teddi is also Tammy Sue’s co-host of their successful podcast, Two Ts In A Pod.
While Teddi and Vicki could bond over both no longer being Real Housewives, instead they have a tense relationship that was basically born from blatant jealousy. Vicki’s, that is. Unfortunately for Vicki, Teddi haunted her at BravoCon and Watch What Happens Live’s Squash that Beef. Friends, something came over Teddi on that day, and … whew, I think she won this game. I guess Teddi didn’t bring a casserole
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum isn’t thankful for being a friend. Vicki wants her orange back and isn’t shy about her desire. She’s also never been shy about how much she dislikes Tammy Sue’s buddy Teddi. BravoCon always features a panel called Squash That Beef featuring two Bravolebs with issues. In 2023 it was Vicki vs Teddi.
During a taping of Dynamic Duos with Shannon Beador and Vicki, Andy Cohen shocked Vicki with the presence of her nemesis, Teddi during WWHL. Because Teddi had not been mentioned on the guest list, Vicki assumed she was safe in Las Vegas from her best friend’s best friend.
Big Daddy grabbed his big spoon and started stirring the pot. An insider said, “Andy asked Vicki about not letting Teddi come to a ‘Tres Amigas’ show, and things escalated quickly.”
“Vicki said she was upset that Teddi joked, ‘Where were you on January 6?’ and Teddi doubled down.” The source said Andy asked Teddi if she really thought Vicki was hanging out at the Capitol back in 2021, but it seemed to only make things worse.
Teddi zinged Vicki and … do we kind of like Teddi now?
The witness continued, “Things continued to get heated when Teddi said something along the lines of, ‘Vicki is triggered by someone who has real cancer.’” Um, one second, please. This is the moment I might have gained some respect for Teddi and I think I need to take a brief pause.
After all of that mess, and honestly, good one for Teddi. “Andy said it was clear they weren’t going to squash it and hugged Teddi before she left,” the insider noted. As you may or may not know, Teddi has been suffering from skin cancer and Vicki spent a great deal lying about cancer when she dated Brooks Ayers back in 2016. It was also one of the reasons the great OG lost a lot of fans.
As you can imagine, Vicki didn’t take her takedown very well. She was allegedly “clearly irritated and had a tense talk with Andy” during a commercial. “Vicki then asked for a tequila shot and seemed to calm down for the rest of the taping,” they said.
Wow. Game, set, and match to Ms. Mellencamp. Well-played.
