Kyle Richards is sitting in the middle of all the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills drama. Her separation from her longtime husband, Mauricio Umansky, is the focal point of the season. And at BravoCon, Kyle confirmed that the pair are divorcing.
And while Kyle has been weathering these marital difficulties, some of her RHOBH co-stars feel that Sutton Stracke hasn’t been supportive. Erika Jayne, who has never been besties with Sutton, called her out for the way that she treated Kyle. “There are moments of Sutton that are great and then it ends up in disappointment quite honestly,” Erika stated. I’m sure this has nothing to do with Sutton shading Erika’s Las Vegas residency.
Now Kyle made it plain that she needs a little break from Sutton. And Sutton was shocked by the news. US Weekly has the details.
What did Sutton do to Kyle during Season 14 of RHOBH?
“I needed space from Sutton. Well, she was a lot. We were starting out when I said that,” Kyle stated. “It had just been a lot of situations with her back-to-back to [where] I was like, ‘Whoa, dial it back. I am going to need to step away for a minute because I didn’t see us getting anywhere.’”
She added, “And I had enough on my plate at the time.”
When Sutton learned of Kyle’s desire to move away from their friendship, she was stunned. “OK. Space away,” Sutton said. “I mean, I didn’t even know she said that. She probably needs space from a lot of people. I don’t know what I did.”
Sutton’s partner-in-crime, Garcelle Beauvais, believes that Kyle has already been distancing herself. “I think she has been taking some space from you and vice versa,” Garcelle said. “Not intentionally.”
Poor Sutton. “What did I do?” she asked.
Erika and Dorit Kemsley understood Kyle’s feelings. “I agree with Kyle. I understand where she’s coming from and I agree. I’ve needed a break for a couple [of] years,” Erika remarked. Duh! That is Erika’s usual response.
“That happens in this group at times. You know, Sutton and I [are] OK. We’ve never really had a big, big issue,” Dorit explained. “But, I always say it’s, like, death by a thousand paper cuts. Sutton has a way of kind of rubbing people the wrong way at times.” Ouch!
It sounds like Season 13 is going to serve up plenty of drama.
