It seems like Tinsley Mortimer really wants to put her Real Housewives of New York days behind her. In the middle of Season 12, she basically exited the show to chase a fairytale in Chicago with Scott Kluth. That engagement imploded, as predicted by relationship expert Dorinda Medley. As a result, Tinsley slowly disappeared from the public eye.
Then, just last month, she secretly got engaged to a new guy named Robert Bovard. Additionally, they’re set to walk down the aisle in the coming weeks. So, at BravoCon, a fan asked Tinsley’s old RHONY pals if they’d be attending the wedding, but it sounds like they didn’t score invites. Maybe they got lost in the mail? People reported all of the details.
No invite, no entrance
During a panel at BravoCon, a fan asked some of the OG RHONY cast if they received invites to Tinsley’s wedding. It was a resounding “no” across the board.
After Dorinda’s behavior towards Tinsley in Season 12, it’s not surprising that she wasn’t invited. There’s no coming back from that turkey baster comment, and Tinsley probably still has her blocked on Instagram. But, what about Sonja Morgan and Luann de Lesseps?
Luann simply replied to the fan and said, “I’m not invited.”
Meanwhile, Sonja said that she had been in touch with Tinsley, but she still hadn’t scored an invite to the wedding ceremony. Kelly Bensimon also weighed in. Kelly shared, “I’ve known Tinsley for 25 years and I didn’t know she was engaged.”
The one RHONY alum who might be in attendance is Leah McSweeney. Her friendship with Tinsley always seemed to transcend the show. As recently as September 2023, Leah was showing her love on social media. She shared a selfie of the two and captioned it, “ILYSM @tinsleymortimer, #mcmortimer.” That sounds like someone who might have been invited to the wedding.
