Could the OG Housewives franchise soon be obsolete? We’ve been watching The Real Housewives of Orange County for almost 18 years – the show will soon be an adult! Along the way, some have probably wondered, “How much longer can this keep going on?”
We’ve already seen so much on RHOC, from Vicki Gunvalson going nuclear about a “little family van” for six people, all of the way up to Tamra Judge’s present-day screaming about someone else’s romantic relationship. Apparently, Tamra has been wondering about the show’s fate as well. She asked her psychic about it, and he predicted that the show’s end is probably on the horizon.
RHOC: Are the end times near for Tamra Judge and her co-stars?
Tammy Sue sat down as a guest on Turtle Time with Ramona and Avery Singer on Wednesday. Yes, even they have their own podcast now. The three were talking about The Real Housewives of New York reboot, which led Tamra to question if Bravo would take other cities in that direction as well, saying, “You never know what direction they’re going in, but it made me wonder, like, are they gonna start rebooting other shows?”
Avery then asked Tamra how long she thinks RHOC will go on. Tamra answered, “I think about this a lot. I had a conversation with a friend of mine, Scott Cruz, who’s actually a psychic medium. And I said, ‘Scott, I don’t know what’s going on.’”
It’s worth mentioning that Scott is the same psychic who predicted Brooks Ayers was lying about his cancer, so it’s not his first Housewives predictions rodeo!
Tamra continued, “And I said, ‘How much longer is this ride gonna last?’ And he says to me, ‘I see Orange County getting canceled in two years.’ And I said, ‘OK.’ I mean, who knows? I don’t know if that [means] a reboot or what.”
Tamra added that she’d like the show to continue for 20 years, which would take her into retirement.
It will be interesting to see if Scott’s prediction is true. And if it is, what will end up being the show’s last straw? Could it fall victim to Bethenny Frankel and her supposed “Reality Reckoning?” Will Tamra toss one napkin or drink too many? We’ll have to wait 730 days to find out!
