Since Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky announced their separation, they’ve not exactly gone into hiding. We’ve seen them pretty much everywhere and often read about the details of the split, since they always seem to find their way into the public eye. While we don’t know the exact reason for their decision, we might eventually get a glimpse of why Kyle and Mo split after almost 30 years of marriage – instead of just Kyle doing a split at every party – on this season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Both Kyle and Mauricio have said that divorce isn’t yet on the table. However, the two don’t seem to be in any hurry to heal their union. Kyle’s constantly seen out and about with Morgan Wade and Mauricio’s been gallivanting with his (now former) Dancing with the Stars partner, Emma Slater.
That probably doesn’t leave much time to work on their marriage. But, they have been working on themselves individually. TMZ says that while Kyle and Mauricio are both getting therapy separately, they have not done any together.

Kyle and Mauricio haven’t been seen together in a long time. He also skipped BravoCon and was seen hanging out with Emma again instead. A source “with direct knowledge” says that both Kyle and Mauricio are only doing therapy on their own. As for why they haven’t yet seen a marriage counselor or couples’ therapist? They just want to explore life separately for now.
The source also reiterated that the two still don’t plan to divorce at the moment, but the fate of their relationship is up in the air at this point, and it looks like they’re in no hurry to figure it out.
According to the source, “Look, they may get back together, but they may not. They just don’t know right now. They will decide at some point whether they stay married, but not now.”
Could the fact that Kyle and Mauricio don’t have a prenup and he’s worth $100M be a reason they’re dragging their feet? Kyle makes a great living on Housewives as well, but she might not want to let go of that The Agency money just yet! Figuring out how to divide up their mountains of cash won’t be a task for the weak-hearted.
