Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Teddi Mellencamp just do not like each other. Though they share a mutual friendship with Tamra Judge, the pair have been at war with each other for years.
During the November 6 episode of BravoCon Live, host Andy Cohen brought them face-to-face in an attempt to “Squash That Beef.” He challenged the two women to end their feud in front of the BravoCon audience.
“Tonight we try to squash the beef with Teddi,” Andy told Vicki, as she rolled her eyes in disdain. “I know you find her annoying. You had her banned from attending the Tres Amigas [live shows]. Is there hope for you two to come together? Is there a problem? Does she talk poorly? Does she try to take Tamra away from you?” We all knew that wouldn’t go well, and it didn’t.
Was any beef actually squashed?
How does Tamra feel about being in the middle of the conflict between her two good friends? On the November 8 episode of BravoCon Live, she disclosed the status of her friendship with her Two T’s in a Pod podcast co-host Teddi amid the drama with her longtime BFF Vicki.
Tamra was less than pleased with the shady reference Teddi made to Vicki’s notorious ex-boyfriend Brooks Ayers (the cancer faker). Teddi, who is fighting Stage 2 melanoma, told the insurance broker, “You’re probably just triggered by somebody that actually has cancer.” In the audience, Dorit Kemsley’s eyeballs nearly popped out of her head. That was a low blow, even for Tedious.
“I had a hard conversation with Teddi today,” Tamra later revealed. “I told her what she did was not right.”
Where do Teddi and Vicki stand now?
So was any beef actually squashed between Vicki and Teddi? Short answer: No. As Vicki commented on her Instagram account, “Teddi should be thanking Bravo for giving her 5 seconds of screen time while in Vegas this weekend. Squash the beef? Yeah, not happening. Not now, not ever. No one messes with the OG of the OC. #buhbye.”
Meanwhile, Teddi addressed the issue on her Instagram Stories, writing, “Maybe not my finest (or kindest) moment, but she started this whole beef for no reason and has continued to come at me. I had enough.”
