Real Housewives of New York City alum Tinsley Mortimer surprised fans when news broke that she was once again engaged. According to sources, Robert Bovard put a ring on Tinsley’s finger. And Robert is just a normal businessman, so the couple could fly under the radar.
That is probably a much better option after Tinsley’s public split from then-fiancé, Scott Kluth. Tinsley was reportedly shocked when Scott called off their engagement. She even left Season 12 of RHONY so that she could relocate to Chicago to be with the man.
In October, Tinsley shared a photo on Instagram of Robert along with three children. The kids’ faces were obscured by emojis. Tinsley captioned the snap, “Family vacay before the big day!” In a separate selfie, a large rock was seen on Tinsley’s finger.
Wedding bells for Tinsley and Robert
US Weekly confirmed that Tinsley and Robert got married on Saturday, November 11. The couple said “I Do” in Palm Beach, Florida. Since Tinsley seems determined to keep this relationship as private as possible, we probably won’t find out more details about the wedding. Of course, I would love to see a photo of Tinsley in her wedding dress. Being a wife and a mom was all that Tinsley ever wanted.
But this wasn’t Tinsley’s first walk down the aisle. She and Robert Livingston “Topper” Mortimer tied the knot in 2002. They were married for eight years.
And it sounds like none of Tinsley’s former RHONY co-stars received an invite. The fact that Dorinda Medley’s invite was lost in the mail was to be expected. She ruthlessly hounded Tinsley about dating Scott and Tinsley’s dream of motherhood. The turkey baster comment was cruel.
But Luann de Lesseps and Sonja Morgan were also excluded. Meanwhile, poor Kelly Killoren Bensimon, who has known Tinsley for over 25 years, wasn’t aware that Tinsley was engaged.
It sounds like Tinsley is making a clean break with Bravo. Congrats, Tinsley and Robert!
