Real Housewives of Miami is hot, on “Fyah,” as Adriana de Moura might say. The show’s comeback after a several-year hiatus proved that Real Housewives just gets better with time, especially in a city like Miami. Season 6 of the show returned to airing on Bravo rather than Peacock. The viewership data shows fans are more than pleased with the primetime change.
More fans are watching RHOM than ever, and it’s about time. RHOM’s Season 6 premiere saw a 124 percent increase in viewership than last season’s on Peacock, according to Nielsen live-plus-seven-day figures (via The Wrap). Nearly one and a half million people watched the premiere during its first week on the platform.
Unfortunately, the data doesn’t indicate whether or not with was Larsa Pippen’s ridiculous drama or Julia Lemigova’s goats that pulled in the added viewers. I’m going to give the existence of Kiki Barth’s confessionals a little deserved credit for the growing love for the show.
Real Housewives of Miami is on Fyah
RHOM’s Season 6 premiere saw a huge increase in the 18-49 year-old demographic from the previous season, which is another big win for the series. Hopefully, these fans at least went back to watch the Season 5 reunion to see Adriana’s infamous note to Marysol Patton to gain some context on their current feud.
The data just proves what the OG fans knew all along — Real Housewives of Miami is one of the best of the franchise. It’s about time it starts to get the praise (and viewers) it deserves. Now, let’s all stream “Fyah” to celebrate this RHOM win.
Real Housewives of Miami airs on Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
