Now that the Real Housewives of New York City relaunch has officially come and gone, it’s time to find out which ladies from the new era will return. Of course, there were fan favorites, including Brynn Whitfield and Jessel Taank, alongside some not-so-favorites — looking at you, Sai De Silva. And some that were just … ordinary.
Among those was former J-Crew president and “fashion icon” Jenna Lyons. To viewers’ surprise, Jenna was poised and relaxed throughout the series, no matter how hard her co-stars tried to provoke her. As the show progressed, she didn’t seem as connected with the rest of the ladies, which is likely why they fought over separate flights and high-school secrets.
Despite the hefty Bravo check, Jenna wasn’t interested in playing with these girls, and her absence at BravoCon seemed to solidify that further. Now, the recent question has been whether she’ll return for another season of RHONY, and in her latest Jimmy Fallon appearance, she gave us some sort of an answer.
Will Jenna Lyons return to RHONY?
Jenna dodged a few questions regarding her Bravo return during her latest stop on The Tonight Show. When Jimmy asked the reality star if she was “coming back,” she joked, “When do you want me to come?”
He clarified, saying, “No, Real Housewives — are you doing it? Are you doing another season?”
Jenna replied, saying she thought she would be hosting alongside Jimmy on The Tonight Show before revealing she doesn’t know if she’ll be back.
“I don’t know, what do you think?” she asked. Jenna clarified: “I don’t have an answer. I genuinely don’t know.”
After the audience shouted, “Do it!” Jenna told Fallon the fans “have been lovely.”
“The things I did not realize about that show — and for anyone who is a fan, like, thank you — [but] people have been so nice. Like, I get stopped everywhere, and people yell across the street, ‘I love you, Jenna!’ And I’m like, ‘I love you, too!’ I have a lot of relationships going on right now. Like, people feel like they’re friends.”
Jenna hasn’t been shy about her discomfort with reality TV. So, if she does return, it’ll shock most Bravo and RHONY lovers. But stranger things have happened in the magical land of Real Housewives. So, if you’re rooting for her return, keep your fingers crossed.
