Former reality tv heavy-hitters NeNe Leakes and Bethenny Frankel were almost fast friends with a common interest. The common interest was biting back at the network that made them famous and quite a bit of cash.
Both NeNe and Beth bumped heads with Bravo and became foes of the Real Housewives franchise. They have verbally maligned Andy Cohen and railed against things they used to promote heavily. NeNe also appeared on a podcast of Bethenny’s where they discussed the now infamous reality television reckoning that seems to be going nowhere.
Then came BravoCon and a fan asked Big Daddy if he could ever find it in his heart to forgive NeNe for her sins against NBCUniversal. When he didn’t immediately scream “NO” into the microphone, it gave people hope. Now NeNe has deleted all presence of Bethenny from her socials and may or may not be hoping for her comeback. But what does Beth think about NeNe’s sudden change of heart? Page Six has the scoop.
“No issues”
It looks like Bethenny is going to leave this one alone. For now. After scrubbing Bethenny’s podcast and pics with Beth from social media, the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum and Bethenny have “no issues.”
Additionally, NeNe and Bethenny have been “talking and texting all week” and possibly discussing working on “future projects together.”
A source shared, “NeNe was promoting the podcast episodes AS they were airing. There is no reason for her to promote old episodes, and Bethenny has had new episodes since then.” Okay, but are we in the habit of deleting things simply because they are “no longer airing?”
The insider said the excuse they’re going with is “[NeNe] cleaned up her Instagram from old promos, as many people do, including Bethenny.” Sure, Jan. In other news, it appears Bravo has started to follow NeNe again and vice versa. That said, Bravo also follows Bethenny so I’m not sure what the big deal is on that one.
While NeNe might have hopped off Bethenny’s reckoning boat, she’s still in good standing with Captain Beth. Allegedly.
