The door is OPEN! As you know, NeNe Leakes and Cynthia Bailey reunited a few weeks ago, and it was all laughs and smiles.
“Listen, chile … I told y’all I stepped out the other nite and bumped into several other people,” NeNe posted on Instagram. “But what I didn’t tell you is that I bumped into The Cynthia Bailey hunni.”
She continued, saying she had to “read [Cynthia] down, but at the end of it all, they “literally laughed our asses off.”
But it appears their friendship has evolved from spontaneous bump-ins to international flights. Let’s get into it.
NeNe and Cynthia take Dubai with other Real Housewives stars
In the land of the Real Housewives, truly, anything can happen — and we’re watching it play out in front of our eyes.
NeNe and Cynthia, who starred on the Real Housewives of Atlanta, were besties until a Season 6 misunderstanding lit their relationship and friendship contract on fire. Despite moving on a while after that, the pair had another falling out a few years later.
The duo was unable to move on in front of the camera due to NeNe’s Atlanta departure following Season 12, but now, the long-awaited reunion is finally here.
Since late this week, NeNe and Cynthia have flooded our Instagram timelines with beautiful pictures and exclusive videos of the pair’s Thanksgiving trip to Dubai. In an Instagram post, NeNe posted a few flicks and a video of her with Cynthia and two other ladies. The caption says, “I choose peace; I choose me.”
Several stars, including Marlo Hampton, commented, “#truefriendships never end,” while Real Housewives of Dubai star Chanel Ayan said, “See you soon.”

Along with the images NeNe and Cynthia are sharing online, they’ve also posted just as many exciting videos.
In a particular clip, Cynthia and NeNe are strutting along in what appears to be an airport where Cynthia says, “All the things … listen, chile, stay tuned. We over here.”
In another story of NeNe attempting to hit a golf ball, viewers could hear Cynthia in the background joking, “Let me move out the way. No shade, honey, but, listen, we just became friends again, chile. Let me move out of the way of this ball.”
We also saw the pair with Lesa Milan and her husband!
Since NeNe’s sit-down interviews with Carlos King and Bethenny Frankel, we’ve seen NeNe out and about more often. Plus, all of this is coming after the rumors a potential Atlanta reboot could involve NeNe in some way.
Of course, we’ll only know once we know, but with the latest comments and events, the future looks bright.
