Season 13 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is off and running! Georgia peach Sutton Stracke upset the ladies when she had a Magic Mike meltdown in Las Vegas. While her reasons for her breakdown seemed strange, Sutton shared that viewers will learn more about what was happening in her life.
After Sutton stormed out of the show, Kyle Richards went to Sutton’s home to find out what went wrong. Kyle was dealing with marital issues with her husband, Mauricio Umansky, at the time. But only Dorit Kemsley knew that the couple was struggling. Sutton, who seemed a little tipsy, ordered Kyle to list all the times that Sutton “lost her sh*t.” Sutton repeatedly said, “Name ‘em” to Kyle. After running down an impressive list, Kyle left.
The Kathy Hilton connection
According to US Weekly, Sutton and Kyle attempted a second sit-down during Garcelle Beauvais’ movie screening. “You just seemed off, like odd,” Kyle said of their previous chat. “I don’t know what it was.”
Kyle’s words were triggering for Sutton. “Kyle is supposed to be my friend and you’re using words that you know will cut me to the core,” she explained in a confessional.
“There seems to be sometimes, a real lack of — and I’m being real truthful — a lack of respect,” Sutton told her RHOBH co-star. Kyle disagreed.
“I don’t know if you’re mad at me about the Kathy [Hilton] thing,” Sutton stated. “Maybe you are.” But Kyle replied, “I don’t care about that.” So, Sutton being friends with Kathy while Kyle was on the outs with her sister gives us another layer to their feud.
Sutton said in her RHOBH confessional, “She’s lying. If I had a sister and somebody was friends with my sister and I wasn’t friends with my sister, I would care,” she explained. “This is a love triangle gone awry.”
Kyle felt that Sutton was trying to reference problems in Kyle and Mauricio’s marriage. When Sutton asked Kyle why she couldn’t ask her questions since they were friends, Kyle popped off. “You’re so full of sh*t,” Kyle told Sutton.
Their problems seemed to continue, as Kyle admitted at BravoCon 2023 that she was taking a break from Sutton. “It had just been a lot of situations with her back-to-back to [where] I was like, ‘Whoa, dial it back. I am going to need to step away for a minute because I didn’t see us getting anywhere,’” Kyle explained.
It will be exciting to watch the friendship dynamic between Sutton and Kyle implode this season.
