The situation between Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky was confusing from day one. Reports came out that the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars were separating, which they initially denied, but didn’t deny their relationship was in a tight spot.
Eventually, they did begin calling their divide a separation. At that point, rumors of Kyle partaking in an extramarital affair began swirling, and fans wondered if a divorce was on the table. When Kyle used the word “divorce,” the media pounced before she clarified that she had misspoken.
On top of all that, rumors have now culminated that Mauricio has been seeing other women. So, the whole situation is hard to keep track of. That being said, Kyle has reported that things aren’t all that bad.
Kyle, Mauricio, and the kids are taking it “a day at a time”
A pap from TMZ caught up with Kyle, who confirmed once again that she would be spending Christmas with Mauricio and the kids this year. Kyle initially confirmed her holiday plans with the family at the recent DirecTV Christmas event. She also divulged that the whole family had spent Thanksgiving together, and things were quite “normal.”
The pap then mentioned how Kyle and the family were spotted at The Grove last weekend, asking how things were between the couple. “Good enough to be at The Grove,” Kyle joked. “Yeah, we get along,” she added. When asked if the couple would be able to make everything work, Kyle said they were “taking everything a day at a time.”
Assuming this divorce saga between Kyle and Mauricio isn’t fabricated, the two should receive some measure of commendation. This year, we’ve seen just how bad Real Housewives’ divorces can be. So, for Kyle and Mauricio to keep everything relatively above board? For their kids’ sake, they should be saluted. Of course, the bar is low.
