Summer House fans are impatiently awaiting the new season premiere because Season 8 promises to bring some insight into the demise of Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard’s engagement. Unfortunately, the only information released about a premiere day is that viewers can expect it in 2024.
But the formerly betrothed couple’s co-stars have been dropping major hints and speaking in vague terms about what they saw between Lindsay and Carl while filming was underway in the months before their split.
Danielle thinks Carl and Lindsay were “meant to be friends”
Danielle Olivera recently spoke to Page Six’s Evan Real and Danny Murphy. It was during a live taping of “Virtual Reali-Tea” at Chelsea Table & Stage in New York City. The Summer House star suggested several of the female housemates back Carl in his decision and that they think he “very much … has a point.”
“People do want to believe Carl’s side of that story and at the end of the day I would love to believe that side of the story too. I just don’t right now,” Danielle stated of decidedly backing Lindsay over the former Loverboy VP.
“I think it’s gonna take some time to figure out. Like, you know, there’s the real part, there’s Lindsay’s side, there’s Carl and there’s somewhere we all lie,” she explained.
As the conversation evolved, Danielle said that as far as the events that occurred shortly before Carl ended the relationship with Lindsay, there is a “point to what happened last summer.”
“I think Carl and Lindsay were meant to be best friends and I think it has now been shattered and that’s not gonna happen ever again,” she added.
“I never wanted it to go down the way it went down,” Danielle concluded.
Summer House will return in 2024 on Bravo.
