This has not been a good year for Shannon Beador. The Real Housewives of Orange County star has suffered a loss of love, probably a loss of her driver’s license, and now any remaining shred of dignity.
Shannon’s ex John Janssen is not a great guy. He wasn’t good for Shannon and he probably isn’t good for new ladyfriend Alexis Bellino. Alexis blames it on “happenstance” but John probably blames it on wanting to be around cameras. The two met one night at The Quiet Woman and instead of throwing plates, Cupid shot some arrows.
On the heels of RHOC Season 18 and the rumors of Alexis returning, Shannon has been forced to address John’s choice to begin dating someone who has fewer than 6 degrees of separation. The Messenger has the details.
Isn’t it ironic …
Shannon is NOT happy and you know what – this is relatable. No matter what the situation, it stings when your former love begins hanging out with someone else. Younger. Big boobs. Probably going to be holding an orange.
“I’m not gonna lie. It hurts. It hurt a lot,” Shannon confessed. Good on her for being open and honest. Which is a lot more than we can say about her DUI arrest. “Number one, John Janssen said that he didn’t want to be in a public relationship, so this is quite ironic,” she added. Well, John Janssen is a damn liar face, obviously.
“And secondly, Alexis’ ex-husband sued me for defamation.” Yes, Jim Bellino sued Shan and Tamra Judge in 2018 after making some comments on a podcast. “It was financially and emotionally devastating for me and John knows that and Alexis was involved in the lawsuit. So it’s a lot,” she added.
The moral of the story is, John is the villain in this scenario. While both John and Alexis are single and free to mingle, Alexis has no previous alliance with Shannon. Additionally, Lex left RHOC before Shannon began her run, so the ladies haven’t even been formally introduced. But be very clear, John knew exactly what he was doing.
Despite the DUI, Vicki Gunvalson probably not getting her orange back, and her ex dating a possible future co-star, Shannon is staying level. Allegedly. “It’s been a rough couple of weeks. But I’m strong and I’ll get through whatever I need to do,” she concluded.
Real Housewives of Orange County will reportedly return, possibly with a new buddy for Shannon, to Bravo in 2024.
